Established in 1981 Friends of Allonby is Liverpool's leading canoe club and is widely regarded as one of the best and most welcoming clubs in the world 

Since 1992 the Club has run its annual Merseyside Canoe Polo Tournament, the international competition is one of the biggest held in the UK and consistently attracts dozens of polo teams from throughout the UK, Ireland and continental Europe. 

The Club also runs numerous courses for different groups: Colleges, Schools, Business, Organisations.
